Wilson (retiree) was head agronomist and director of marketing for the Milorganite Division of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District from 1960 to 1979. He spearheaded the O.J. Noer Research Foundation. He received the WGCSA Distinguished Service Award as well as awards from many other state associations and the USGA Green Section. He is credited with making 'turfgrass' one word and with coining the term, 'wet wilt'." |
