Abstract/Contents: | "The Royal And Ancient Golf Club (R & A) has reorganised the committees which hold the purse strings for golf-related turf research." The Joint Golf Course Committee used to advise the club, but when the English Golf Union withdrew from it, it had to be replaced by the R & A Golf Course Advisory Panel. The new panel will advise the club concerning the best use of funds in areas associated with golf course maintenance, research, and environmental concerns. |
