| Abstract/Contents: | "The Royal and Ancient Golf Club has the power to do a great deal of good in the field of golf course maintenance. To be fair, its track record over the past few years has been respectable." When the English Golf Union decided to discontinue funding the turf-related activites of R & A they decided to replace the Joint Golf Course Committee with the R & A Golf Course Advisory Panel. By replacing the JGCC with the R & A Golf Course Advisory Panel, Royal and Ancient Golf Club can continue contributing to turf research and golf course maintenance. |
