| Abstract/Contents: | "During the past few years, many of us have been involved in a 'battle.' The battle has been the debate over pesticides and their use on turfgrass and ornamentals. It has been part of the much larger debate concerning the use of pesticides in agriculture. Unfortunately, about the only thing that has been accomplished over the past few years is that individuals on both sides have become more adamant and bitter." It is suggested that a new approach be taken to educate the public about pesticides in order to end these debates and misconceptions. |
