USGA Summary Points:Of the four fungicides evaluated, only one, Velista (penthipyrad), showed a significant benefit from the addition of an adjuvant. Addition of urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) solution appeared to improve performance of each fungicide tested, although the effects were not dramatic Within trial disease variability obscures potentially positive results. A framework for understanding fungicide uptake and activity kinetics is needed to advance this area of research.
