| Abstract/Contents: | Possessing symptoms easily mistaken for an entirely different disease or condition, Rhizoctonia solani (Brown patch) and Colletotrichum graminicola (Anthracnosis) are here discussed in detail to educate the greenkeeper and allow for accurate diagnosis. Included is information regarding their visible symptoms, lists of both the factors which contribute to the outbreak of the diseases and those that hinder their onset, as well as an overview of the grasses most often affected. This text appears in parallel German, French and English versions. |
