Abstract/Contents: | Discusse the nature of water, hazard and danger it might cause to golf course and golfers, and different situations that risk is involved in water. Also discusses Water Resources Act 1992, the rules applies to separate sectors which will include Amenity, Agricultural and Industrial, and their impact on water management. "In reality most course managers still consider that water is water and remain bilssfully unaware of the dangers which could affect course and players." Provides advices on improving warter quality to the standards set out in the legislation and reducing your risk from the water under your management. |
