| Abstract/Contents: | BAS 51434 (Quincclorac) and its combinations with other herbicides at various rates were evaluated. The initial treatment was applied on May 26, 1992 to Kentucky bluegrass. Evaluation of control was done on June 21 and again on July 22, 1992. Phyto was evalauted on June 1, 1992. "No phyto was observed with any treatment. All treatments gave excellent control of white clover with the exception of pendimethalin (5%). Plantain was control by 2,4-DP-P alone, but not with any other treatment in the first month. It was not until the end of July we began to see some control (20 to 30%) for treatments other than 2,4-DP-P. BAS514 applied as the sesquential gave the highest control of crabgrass. All other treatments fell below this. Control of crabgrass dropped of[off]by late July with the exception of the sesquential 514 treatment." |
