Abstract/Contents: | Describes the efforts of the Detroit District Golf Association to ascertain the reasons behind the large discrepancies found in the costs needed to maintain the 38 golf courses in their membership. The differences stemmed from improper classifications and misguided practices on the parts of the individual clubs. A questionnaire was devised to determine the nature of problems with each club. It is hoped that the information gathered from this form will enable the cost information form the coming year to be of far greater accuracy, and that costs for maintenance will be reduced due to a heightened awareness on the part of the organizations. |
