Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the advantages of having a six hole golf course rather than a nine hole course. Advantages include more stops on the course, possibility of shorter rounds for those who are too old or too busy to play the whole course, and the ability of small communities to build such a course thus encouraging the spread of the game to otherwise unreacheable areas. Also covers the history of the course hole numbers as well as the possibilities of types of hole that would vary a six hole course enough to be an interesting game. |
