Abstract/Contents:Golf courses should be designed in such a manner that golfers of many ability levels will find the course both challenging and enjoyable to play. All too many courses have been constructed with only the professional in mind, and the amateur golfer finds himself severely disadvantaged. Creating a more strategic design would be in the best interests of both course and players, as out of one course could be made several, and architects should incorporate this in mind when designing the course.
