| Abstract/Contents: | "The objective of these trials is to evaluate buffalograss selections for their turf grass potential in Missouri, with primary emphasis on overall turf quality. Ratings of spring greenup, quality, density, and % cover were taken starting in April 1993...Most of the buffalograss cultivars provided acceptable quality turf or better. The ratings reflect the rapid improvement breeders have made in turf type buffalograss cultivars." |
