Abstract/Contents: | Observations of the vascular anatomy of the green plant C. rhexifolia were made to determine the nature of apparent root connections with Festuca cf. brachyphylla. A continuous tracheary system between the 2 species and the intrusion of C. rhexifolia tissue into F. cf. brachyphylla shows that C. rhexifolia is a hemiparasite. |
