Abstract/Contents: | Studies have shown that there is an advantage in using mineral sod in a short term period. Studies have also shown that there are no disadvantages in using muck in a long term period. "Proper soil preparation and post transplant care are very important in the success of a sod planting. Be sure that you properly prepare the soil prior to establishment, make sure the soil is moist when laying the sod, and be sure to water frequently until the sod is firmly rooted." |
