Abstract/Contents:Introduces project assessing performance of over 1,600 strains of greens-type Poa annua. In addition, the project is testing the tolerance of greens-type Poa annua to winter damage and heat, its management requirements, and its resistance to disease and insects. The purpose of the research is to offer an alternative for those golf courses where Poa annua is a better choice for the green.
