| Abstract/Contents: | In a pot trial, the effects on 6 soils of added K calculated from EUF-K curves on the growth of (a) perennial ryegrass and (b) white clover cut 4 times at 30-day intervals were studied. For (a), percentage dry wt. increases ranged from 0 to 81% and for (b) from 3 to 89% for the different soils. The rate of decrease in dry wt. production at successive cuts was less with added K for (a). K absorption by (a) was greater than by (b). |
