Abstract/Contents:Of eight midseason and ten late varieties that were assessed for persistence and invasion by weeds after two systems of cutting for four years, greatest persistence and least weed ingress were shown by the midseason varieties Barlenna and Combi and the late varieties Melle, Pelo, Lamora and Perma.
