Abstract/Contents:Presents a study that examines the effects of year, soil moisture as influenced by surface drainage, turfgrass height of cut and type of topdressing material on the extent of mineralization of the organic nitrogen in dormant applied Milorganite and the resulting color response of creeping bentgrass. Concludes that weather is the primary factor responsible for variations in spring color response of bentgrass to dormant applications of Milorganite. Among the other three factors, surface drainage is the most influential.
