Abstract/Contents:"In a replicated field trial at Mesa Verde Country Club, Costa Mesa, CA, a single curative treatment of ProStar 50 WP provided excellent control of brown patch on kikuyugrass fairways, with residual activity of 8 weeds or more. Single curative treatments with Daconil 2787 and Chipco 26019 Flo provided good control of brown patch, but residual control was not as high as for ProStar. Based on these results, early symptoms of brown patch treated with ProStar may be controlled with a single treatment. Treatments of Daconil 2787 or Chipco 26019, although effective, should be followed up 3 - 4 weeks later with a second application for optimal control."
