| Abstract/Contents: | "Bifenthrin, Talstar F, a pyrethroid insecticide, is currently labeled on ornamentals and for professional use on home lawns. A number of tests have shown some efficacy against mole crickets. The purpose of this trial was to evaluate four formulations of bifenthrin with and without surfactant against large mole cricket nymphs....There are no clear results from this test. This is due in part to our inability to recheck the plots until 29 days after treatment. By this time, the weather was much colder and mole cricket activity was very erratic." |
