Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the problems created by current naming practices for plant cultivars. A plant cultivar may have only one registered cultivar name, but may then be sold under any number of trademark names as well as the original cultivar name. Legal aspects of the naming and sale of cultivars are discussed. |
