Abstract/Contents: | Discusses two types of overseeding used in lawns and landscapes in the transition and warm-season climate areas of the U.S. In one type of overseeding, a cool-season turf species is seeded over warm-season turf in order to increase turf density. In the other type, cool-season grass is seeded over warm-season grass in order to provide a temperary winter cover. Includes a list of recommendations for successful overseeding. |
