Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the negative aspects of the common practice of winter fairway overseeding on southern golf courses. While overseeding provides the greener, more attractive turf demanded by golfers, it is expensive and unpredictable in its results. It is suggested that golf course management staff carefully consider the decision to overseed rather than simply following trends. |
