Abstract/Contents: | Profiles Temple Golf Club, which went from being a natural course to becoming more simulated (like new American courses), and the efforts of the club to regain the course's original natural setting. Discusses the groups that provided funding for the project such as Countryside Stewardship, Environmentally Sensitive Areas, Woodland Grant Scheme, and Community Action For Wildlife. Improvements made to the course include the establishment of an indigenous forest and creation of wildlife habitats using wind-blown timber. |
