Abstract/Contents:Examines the efforts of golf courses to maintain environmental quality standards high enough to please conservationists. Royal St. Georges, Royal Birkdale, Lindrick, Woodhall Spa, Burnham and Berrow and Hankley Common were listed as as containing wildlife habitats of national or international importance. Problems that still need attention include chemical and water use.
