| Abstract/Contents: | A survey was conducted of workshop participants (sports turf managers and field maintenance workers) who were learning to evaluate athletic field surfaces. The survey asked participants what they viewed as the worst problem facing sports turf maintenance. Results showed that the largest problem was the lack of a sufficient number of fields, followed by inadequate budgets to maintain the existing fields. |
