| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses different approaches to the problems of wear on golf courses. Approaches discussed include: cut down the amount of play during heavy frosts and flooding, spread wear within the course by rotating tee markers and using non-powered trolleys, and create more actively growing and resilient surfaces by placing winter greens out of the line of normal play and Verti-draining. |
