| Abstract/Contents: | Provides the responses by three different superintendents to the question, "What has been your experience with the use of growth regulators?" The first superintendent discusses his use of Primo on a primarily poa green to slow its growth down and to allow for the eventual takeover by bentgrass. The second superintendent suggests that whether to use, or which kind of growth regulator to use, depends on your location and the weather conditions for that area. The third superintendent discusses success with growth regulators such as Embark and Primo, and also discusses the use of an iron fertilizer additive to mask the yellow discoloration that sometimes follows a growth regulator application. |
