Abstract/Contents:Chlorthal-dimethyl at 11.2-13.4 kg/ha, applied in late spring or autumn, was most effective in controlling creeping speedwell and resulted in no toxic effects to mature perennial grasses. The kill of creeping speedwell was slow and took up to 1 month for the first symptoms to appear, which improved the transition to desirable grasses.
