| Abstract/Contents: | Evaluates the efficacy and safety of the growth inhibitor Proxy on 'Penncross' creeping bentgrass as fairway turf. Three rates of Proxy and one combination of Proxy and Primo were observed. The control plots were treated with Primo alone or left untreated. Includes tables of treatments and results. It was concluded that Proxy is a viable alternative but may reduce color ratings, which can be avoided by fertilization. |
