Abstract/Contents:Describes research performed to measure the daily and total loss of granular and liquid fertilizers after application to a creeping bentgrass putting green. Another point this research addressed was to determine if water delivery rate of a liquid fertilizer influenced nutrient loss. Five different fertilizers were tested to see which one lost the most nitrogen when mowed. The one that showed the most loss was Polyon. Granular fertilizer treatments during the first two days of mowing lost the most N. All of the sources lost N during the study but granular treatments last more the than others.
