Abstract/Contents:Evaluates the impact of crumb rubber and compost in turfgrass rootzones. The study was done to test turfgrass resiliency, emergence and color when crumb rubber was added to rootzones. The study showed that the color of the turfgrass improved as the percent of crumb rubber increased. No detrimental effects to the emergence of the turfgrass were found when crumb rubber was applied. Resiliency was dependent on the percentage of crumb rubber in the rootzone.
