Abstract/Contents: | Reports on a new irrigation technique used in Australia-- partial rootzone drying. This technique makes it possible to grow wine grapes using half the normal amount of water while obtaining equal quality and yield. Suggests that if the United States would look at this system of irrigation, potential water savings would be greatly increased. |
