Abstract/Contents:"[A]erification is especially important on older, heavily-played courses. Aerification is essential where there is limited acreage, older turf that is contaminated with Poa annua, and on putting surfaces and tees especially those with little or no modified soil." Marion Golf Club Management practices on green and tee spiking, hollow tine coring for greens and tees, vertical groove, solid tine, and fairway aeration - coring and grooving.
