| Abstract/Contents: | "The Guidelines are just that - guidelines. Because of the wide variety of golf courses and types of grasses used on the courses, there will be situations where the Guidelines cannot be met exactly. When this situation occurs, the PGA TOUR Agronomist and/or the PGA TOUR field staff representative will authorize any changes. These Guidelines are intended for the use of the golf course superintendent and the tournament sponsor. Although they were written for use at a PGA TOUR event, we feel they are useful in the day-to-day conditioning of the golf course." Tournament preparation and golf course grounds maintenance are listed. |
