Abstract/Contents: | Suggests that landscapers need to see established landscapes before constructing their own in order to know how the landscape will eventually grow out. Describes how taking pictures and making notes about landscapes found in cemetaries, colleges, hospitals, garden centers, and theme parks can help a landscaper better design his or her own landscape. Also suggests visiting famous landscapes such as Disney World and the Royal Botanical Gardens and speaking with the gardeners and landscapers there. Lists six books on gardens and landscapes to visit. |
