Abstract/Contents: | "Improved fine leaf perennial ryegrasses are being used because of increased traffic tolerance, quick establishment, and desirable texture. They are seeded in mixtures with Kentucky bluegrass but are also seeded alone in many high traffic areas." Includes a table summarizing the results of a perennial ryegrass variety test established in September 1990 and observed monthly from March through October of 1991 and 1992. Ratings are listed for 124 named and experimental cultivars of Lolium perenne. |
