| Abstract/Contents: | Evaluates several fungicides for effects against dollar spot on Agrostis palustris 'Seaside', Pythium blight on mixtures of Poa annua and Agrostis palustris, and melting out on Poa pratensis. Melting out control was best with fungicides DPX 4424, DPX 4424 + Tersan 75, and RP26019. Acti-dione TGF, Acti-dione Plus, and Bromosan were least effective. "Excellent control of dollar spot was provided by all treatments of Bayleton, CGA 64251, DPX 4424, RP26019, Acti-Dione TGF, Actidione Plus, and CGA 48988 + CGA 64251." Some fungicides did not perform well in this test, but this was due to a resistant population of Sclerotinia homoeocarpa in those plots. Control of Pythium blight was best with SN 66752 (70S) and CGA 48988 treatments, and poorest with SN 66752 (10G). Four included tables display each test's results. |
