Abstract/Contents:Presents a study evaluating the effects of variety and cultural methods on green speed. Several bentgrass varieties were tested with various mowing heights, rolling and simulated foot traffic. "SR1020 and Penncross had the greatest green speed compared to all other varieties while Cobra had greater green speed than Suttons and Egmont." Uses graphs to display the test results and discusses the results of each cultural practice.
