Abstract/Contents: | Addresses the population decline of pollinators (bees, beetles, butterflies, bats, birds, etc.). Attributes this decline to habitat destruction and pesticide use. Suggests ways to encourage pollinator growth on a golf course, including natural roughs and nesting sites. Describes a pollinator count on golf courses in Washington and Oregon spearheaded by the Wildlife Links Program. |
