Abstract/Contents: | Summarizes an experiment investigating conversion of a putting green from Penncross to a new variety. Trials were conducted on plots with the following treatments: broadcast overseeding, cultivation with Job Saver® tines plus broadcast overseeding, verticutting plus broadcast overseeding, Primo® plus Job Saver® cultivation plus broadcast overseeding, and Primo® plus verticutting plus broadcast overseeding. "The best conversion was found with the JobSaver plus Primo® treatments...The least effective treatments were verticutting and verticutting plus Primo®." |
