| Abstract/Contents: | "Densities of Hoplolaimus galeatus and Paratrichodorus christiei were greatest in June and July, respectively, where these nematodes occurred alone on greens of two different golf courses. Densities of both nematodes declined in August. P. christiei increased in September and H. galeatus increased in October through December, and both nematodes declined slowly until April. On greens of another golf course where H. galeatus, P. christiei, and Tylenchorhynchus claytoni occurred together, H. galeatus did not occur at high densities in June and changes in densities of this nematode were not significant throughout the year. P. christiei increased in July and December but not in October as where the nematode occurred alone. Densities of H. galeatus and P. christiei were lower than where these species occurred alone. High densities of T. claytoni occurred during August to December, with a decline to low densities in April." |
