Abstract/Contents:Discusses an experiment designed to "examine the shade tolerance of zoysiagrasses in 1992." 25 entries were evaluated for overall quality, turf cover, green cover, color, density, texture, and overall performance. Results indicate that "the top ranked DALZ lines, such as Diamond, DALZ8516, Royal, and DALZ 8510, were evaluated as excellent for turf performance under open-field conditions."
