| Abstract/Contents: | Analysis of samples taken during different stages of the cleaning process for certified seed of timothy grass (Phleum pratense) following harvest in a seed-producing area of Quebec in 1975 showed high densities of eggs of Thymelicus lineola (Ochs.) in the waste. These eggs could represent a source of infestation of the hesperiid, as the waste is not destroyed but used as lawn seed or discarded on the farm. |
