| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study which "evaluated single applications of the higher rates of Dimension in controlling crabgrass in the 2-4 tiller stage...Crabgrass control ratings were made at 17, 36, and 64 days after treatment and were based on visual estimation of percent control." Results indicate that "a single application of the 2 formulations of Dimension at either 0.38 or .50 lbs ai/ac rate is more effective in controlling crabgrass than a single application of MSMA applied at 2.0 lbs ai/ac...these results suggest that when trying to control crabgrass of this maturity, sequential treatments might be more effective than single application." |
