Abstract/Contents: | Discusses several "problems" with the Professional Development Initiative that the author feels must be addressed before voting on it in February 2001, including the division between members with and without a degree, the need for self-evaluation, the Grandfather clause for existing members without a degree, the cost of educational seminars, and the responsibility of the GCSAA to its members. Suggests alternatives to the divisions created by the PDI and urges readers to voice their opinions on the PDI Web site. |
