| Abstract/Contents: | The National St. Augustinegrass test has 25 entries. Five of these are considered commercial standards and twenty are new experimentals. These will be evaluated at least through 1993. During this time the experiment should be established at about twenty one locations across the South. The entries designated as MSA are some that show promise in cold hardness. The list of entries and their sponsors and the plot payout are included. Table 1 gives a T grouping of 27 of the entries based on spring green up in 1991 a mean score is also provided for each entry. Table 2 gives a T grouping for seed head frequency ratings for 27 entries in June or 1991. A mean score is also provided for each of the 27 subjects. |
