Abstract/Contents: | Addresses questions concerning seed choice for overseeding sports turf, such as how much perennial ryegrass can be added to a Kentucky bluegrass-creeping fescue mixture and what to use for an annual spring seeding. Recommends adding no more than 20% ryegrass to the mixture, and does not suggest adding some Kentucky bluegrass to perennial rye for overseeding. Also notes that perennial ryegrass makes the best spring mix for annual seeding. |
