| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to evaluate "the physical conditions that influence sprig root development in buffalograss. Sprig development was evaluated for the effects of age and temperature onn the rate of root development." Results indicate that "as age increases, stolons gradually lose their ability to set roots. In addition, results sugest that root growth is accelerated by higher temperatures, although roots were able to form at temperatures as low as 5°C." |
