| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the bluegrass weevil's preference for annual bluegrass, its lifecycle, and control strategies. Mentions some cultural practices that help control bluegrass weevils, and details the use of insecticides to control bluegrass weevils. Also gives data on 1997 field trials to determine which combinations of insecticides are most effective. The highest rate of control, 97%, was acheived using a combination of two applications of Tempo 20WP and one application of Merit 75 WP. |
